Ephemeral Burst (Blender 3.4+)

[This effect was made mostly through experimentation, I can't guarantee it's the most effective way of doing this]

I'm making this file available so people can explore it and make it their own. Do whatever you feel is right with it. No reselling.

I'm assuming you are somewhat familiar with Blender Nodes (both Shader and Geometry) and Blender in general.

One day I'll do a proper explanation on how it works but for now just change the values around until you understand whats happening, idk!!

Press play on the timeline and move the "Gizmo" empty object to see the effect in action.
